Journal of the Association of Phoneticians and Phonologists in
Nigeria (JAPPIN) is a blind peer-reviewed international journal. It is
the official journal of the Association of Phoneticians and Phonologists
in Nigeria. This is its third volume. All the ten papers that appear in this
volume were carefully selected for quality and impact. They attempt to
do justice to evolving developments in the areas of phonetics and
phonology from diverse perspectives.
The journal publishes well researched original articles that address any
issues, topics or phenomena in areas of phonetics and phonology and
related sciences. Preference is given to data-driven scholarly articles.
Well-written book reviews and review papers may also be considered.
Papers submitted for publication must be original and must not have
been published before and must not be under active consideration for
publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be typed in Times New
Roman 12 points, and all special symbols embedded in the word file.
The transcriptions may appear in Lucida Sans Unicode.
