Nkechi Ukaegbu is a lecturer/researcher at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is interested in the phonetic/phonological description of low-resourced Nigerian languages and varieties of Igbo, with some experience in community-engaged research. She is also interested in integrating indigenous language documentation/revitalization efforts into global conservation discourse. She is the Igbo lead-research assistant on the Lacuna Multi-modal Time-aligned Corpora for Six African Languages Project. Nkechi can be reached at nkechi.ukaegbu@unn.edu.ng.
