I am a research in English Linguistics with research interests in phonology, discourse analysis, pragmatics, and Nigerian English. I am currently a lecturer at the Department of English and Linguistics, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State where I'm actively engaged in postgraduate teaching, research mentoring, and interdisciplinary studies spanning linguistics, communication, and pragmalegal discourse. I hold a PhD in English language, obtained in 2024 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
