Professor Dr. Ugorji specialises in Phonology, Sociolinguistics, Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching, studies Igbo and English, and is affiliated to the University of Benin. He holds a PhD (English Linguistics), MA (Applied Linguistics), BA (Linguistics and Igbo), and Advanced TESOL. He has over 30 years’ cross-cultural teaching experience in Europe and Africa, and has collaborated on international projects, including ICE, published widely, developed research tools, and delivered keynote and guest lectures.
